Frequently asked questions

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset it. If you signed up with Apple or Google, you don't need a password — just use the same sign-in option each time.

Why am I not receiving verification emails?

Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's still missing after a few minutes, make sure you typed your email correctly during signup, then try requesting a new verification email from the app. If the problem continues, contact us and we'll look into it.

How do I add stocks to my portfolio?

From the Portfolio tab, tap the add button and search for a ticker by name or symbol. You can also import holdings via screenshot using the AI import feature.

Is the analyst data or AI content financial advice?

No. All AI-generated summaries and analyst price targets are for informational purposes only, sourced from third-party data providers where noted. Newsfolio does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. Always do your own research before making investment decisions.

How do I make my profile or portfolio private?

Go to your Profile settings and toggle off portfolio sharing. This controls whether other users can see your profile and holdings.

How do I delete my account?

Email contact@newsfolio.app from the email address linked to your account and we'll delete your data within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.

How do I report a post or comment?

Press and hold on any post or comment to bring up the report option, or email us directly with a link or screenshot and we'll review it promptly.
